Solo dinning this time and the restaurant made me felt at ease. This is a classic and elegant Italian restaurant where the staff pay attention to details to the food and diners. Waiters are friendly and objective when making conversation with if diners like to. Exquisite interior decor. Lentil soup is marvelous while Arctic char seared and steamed to perfection. Will return with friends and family.

Me and my husband decided to go there to celebrate our anniversary as it seemed unusual and authentic. And guess what? We ordered 1 appetizer, 1 main course, and 1 dessert + bottle of wine, and to say that we were full after is to say nothing. The wine was recommended by our server and we never regretted it. Everyone there knew what they were doing, and the service was smooth and perfect. If you want authentic Italian cuisine, you have a special occasion, and you don't want something "commercial" - this is your place for sure.

Celebrated New Years Eve Dinner and the food was exceptionally good. Service was top notch and I can appreciate the old school service of having experienced men serve us. Price point was worth all the good flavours in our dishes. It was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back to enjoy the other dishes.

What a wonderful experience!! The food here was top notch, well presented and extremely tasty. Our server Roberto was friendly, chatty and gave us great food and wine recommendations. The restaurant itself had a bright airy atmosphere though it could use a little of an update. The washrooms are not connected to the restaurant and located in the basement in the building. It was very dimly lit and felt pretty sketch.

Authentic, white table cloth Italian in the city. I have never been to an Italian restaurant in Toronto quite like this. Simply because "they don't make them like this anymore". Impeccable service, delicious food, and an atmosphere that takes you back to the 90s fine dining. Loved it!

We jumped straight into the mains with four wonderful seared lamb chops, imprinted with a glistening sear of perfectly rendered lamb fat that boasts a deep Maillard flavour. A knife glides through the pink interior with ease, bursting with caprine juices that are elevated with the herbaceous tone of thyme. Accompanying the meat were simple but well-executed vegetables, which contributed their inherent sweetness while being coated in a salivating lamb jus. Like always, I can’t miss my chance to order a filled pasta at an Italian restaurant. Stuffed with a soft filling of braised veal and dressed in a tangy tomato sauce, it was suitable in satisfying my cravings, especially with a generous hand of grated parmesan on top. Looking to take a quick bite of Italy? Look no further than the pleasantly soft, smooth texture of their gnocchi with a subtle chew. Each nugget is evenly coated in a mildly herbaceous pesto and contrasted with a dollop of tangy, creamy ricotta. The fresh basil leaves add a pop of freshness, and they are so refreshing that I wish there were more. Just in case you were still craving more carbs, the complimentary bread is pillowy with a satisfying spring back and pronounced yeasty aroma, just to soak up any of the pesto that remains.

An excellent little spot at King & Jarvis. I popped in one evening after an event at St. Lawrence Hall. I will most definitely return - the meal was delicious, the service was second to none, and the atmosphere was great. I strongly recommend the cheesecake for desert - it was the best I have ever had.
